Artefact Auction was established in 2025.

We are proud to serve our local Calgary area, running online auctions which provide people with an opportunity to buy quality goods at competitive prices and also an opportunity for people to sell their items, hassle-free, getting great prices at local market value.

Auctions and other re-commerce businesses help reduce environmental impact by extending the life cycle of quality goods. Unlike traditional retail, which often relies on new production, we facilitate the reuse of pre-owned items. This model helps minimize waste and cuts down on the resources and emissions associated with manufacturing and shipping new products, especially since our model works almost entirely within our locality.

We are located in the Chinook area of central Calgary which is included in the traditional territory shared by many First Nations and Métis people who have been the caretakers of this land for many centuries before us. We are committed to our roles as caretakers of this land we live on.
